in the development of our company.  We actively participate in and sponsor many community service organizations and support a number of local sports teams and associations.

We also make daily efforts to run an ecologically responsible business.  Purchasing locally grown and manufactured materials, using biodiesel when possible, composting and recycling office supplies and job site materials such as concrete and asphalt are just a few examples of the actions we take.

By The Woods installation techniques such as permeable pavers and rain gardens also help reduce the impact that our projects have on the environment.  At The Garden, we consciously offer and promote healthier traditional and natural solutions that are safe for your family and effective for your garden and landscape.

In addition, having a positive impact on our community is embedded into our core philosophy.  In 2008, we launched a program called the By The Woods Garden Buddies.  Partnering with local organizations and municipalities, Garden Buddies offers landscapes that bring outdoor enjoyment and education to the public as well as those who may not otherwise have had the opportunity
